Day 1. Arrival in Kampala / Transfer to Gulu Overnight: Gulu Arrival at Entebbe International Airport or pick-up from your hotel in Kampala. Meet your safari driver/guide and begin the journey north. Stop en route for lunch and optional visits (e.g., Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary) if time allows. Continue to Gulu on the main gateway town before the journey into Karamoja. Dinner and overnight. Full Day Game Drive in Narus Valley Overnight: Kidepo Valley NP lodge Full day exploring Narus Valley and other park sectors. Look for elephants, giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, antelopes, lions, leopards, and rare cheetahs. Birdlife is prolific in open savannah and riverine plains. Game Drive & Hot Springs Visit Overnight: Kidepo Valley NP lodge Morning game drive through expansive savannah, chasing sightings of big game and predators. After lunch, head to the Kanangorok Hot Springs near the South Sudan border for a scenic and quieter part of the park where you may also spot game and unique bird species. Kidepo Exploration & Karamojong Cultural Visit Overnight: Kidepo Valley NP lodge Early nature walk or optional walking safari around the park fringes (depends on strength and preference).
