Kibale Forest National Park protects one of the last expanses of tropical rainforest in East Africa and is famed as the primate capital of the world, home to thirteen primate species including a large population of habituated chimpanzees. Guided forest walks bring you close to chimp communities as they feed and vocalise through the canopy, while the neighbouring Bigodi Wetland offers exceptional birding and further primate sightings.
